About
Sophura — from sophia, the Greek word for wisdom. We put it on the phone.
Wisdom, in a law practice, is mostly discipline: answer every call, ask the right questions, write everything down, never miss a deadline. We built a company that does exactly that — tirelessly.
The founding insight
The most expensive machine in a law firm is a ringing phone nobody answers.
Sophura began with an engineer’s irritation: watching businesses spend heavily to make phones ring, then lose the calls to voicemail. Nowhere is that loss sharper than in personal injury law — where the caller is hurt, the decision is urgent, and the first firm to answer usually signs the case.
Most AI agencies are sales operations that outsource the build. Sophura is the inverse: an engineering practice that learned the law-firm world deeply enough to serve it — the vocabulary, the ethics rules, the intake economics — and then built a system worthy of sitting on a firm’s front line.
We chose personal injury first, deliberately. Not because it’s the easiest market, but because it’s the one where a missed call costs the most — and where doing intake right, compliantly, matters most.
How we work
Four commitments, kept in writing.
Outcomes over technology
You’re not buying AI. You’re buying answered calls, booked consultations, and captured cases. If a simpler tool did the job better, we’d use the simpler tool.
Compliance before cleverness
In a regulated profession, the safe design is the right design. Disclosure-first, advice-never, human escalation always — even when nobody would notice a shortcut.
Speed of delivery
Live in about a week, not a quarter. We deploy from a proven blueprint and tune it to your firm — because every week of “implementation” is another month of missed calls.
Radical transparency in reporting
Our monthly report is measured against your baseline and written in your currency: cases, consultations, and dollars. If a number disappoints us, you’ll see it too.
The road ahead
Personal injury first. Then everywhere a missed call costs a fortune.
Our ambition is plainly stated: become the intake standard for plaintiff law, then carry the same discipline into family law, real estate, and healthcare — one vertical at a time, deeply, never generically. The industries listed as “coming” in our footer aren’t decoration. They’re the plan.
Talk to the people who build the thing.
No account executives, no handoffs. The engineer who designs your intake system is the one on your audit call.
